Measure to know: how to always find the right size at Charlis

Sometimes you doubt your size? No stress — everyone does! At Charlis, we use clear size charts so you always find the right fit. And the secret? Just measure yourself. It might sound like a hassle, but it really only takes 2 minutes. 📏

What do you need?

Just a tape measure (a flexible centimeter tape). Don't have one? A piece of string + a ruler works just fine!

How to measure yourself?

👗 For clothing & dresses

Armpit width
Measure the width from armpit to armpit, straight across the chest. This indicates how wide the garment is.

Waist width
Measure at the narrowest point of your waist — which is usually just above your navel.

Length
We measure the total length of the garment, from shoulder to hem.

👖 For trousers

Waist width
Measure at the narrowest point of your waist — which is usually just above your navel.

Hip width
Measure at the widest point of your hips. This is the most important measurement for a good fit.

Inseam length
Measure on the inside of your leg, from your crotch to your ankle. This determines how long the leg falls.

Total length
The full length of the trousers, from the top edge to the hem of the leg.

📏 Size advice: Unsure about your size? Measure yourself and compare with our size chart — to measure is to know!

How do you compare with our size chart?

Our size charts show the measurements of the garment itself — not your body measurements. So add a few extra centimeters for comfort. If you are in doubt between two sizes? Then follow our size advice on the product page — there you will always find the most specific information per item.

One size — does it really fit?

Many of our pieces are one size. On each product page, you will find the exact measurements, so you can check if it fits. One size is not the same for everyone, and we understand that — that's why those size charts are there!
